The game sports 1080i graphics, and both characters and environments look great. Kung Fu Panda's visuals are on-par with the majority of modern games. The multiplayer modes have support for up to four players, so it is a great opportunity for families to play together.
There's even a melee-based game of concentration that challenges you to not only find matching cards, but to prevent the other opponent from getting matches by beating them up! These modes are pretty short, but the fact that there's so many of them provides a fairly, long-lasting experience. Modes include straight-up battles between opponents, team battles, and survival. These modes have to be unlocked via the single-player mode, but once unlocked, they offer a pretty fun experience. If you do this often enough, you can repeat the section you got hit on without needing to complete the level and then restart from the beginning. In addition to single-player, there are also several multiplayer modes. If Po eats a cake, then you've taken a hit somewhere and need to try again. So make a habit of smashing open the rice boxes when you find them. It can be hard to tell if your health has gone down since it doesn't go quite vertical when full. You will not have to repeat the whole level, just the room where you took the hit. If you do take a hit, reload your save immediately and try again. Avoid getting hit by spinning blades and firepads by timing them correctly. Every other dummy can be removed by a panda quake. So you just need to get the smaller green dummies that are in the trampoline room with fast attacks. you can Panda Quake and destroy dummies without getting in range of being hit. You'll want to have the Panda Quake stat maxed out. This is most easily done after you've completed the game at least once and then go back to the third level, which is actually titled "Level Zero."
No tricky traps to navigate and 90% of the enemies will be killed without even putting up a fight. Then it's just a case of rinse and repeat until they're defeated. When they get dizzy, Panda Quake them again. If they get too close, hold LT to block (it helps to have fully upgraded block). Keep away from them while they're spinning. As soon as the battle starts, let them get a little closer (but not too close) and then perform a Panda Quake. When it comes to the bosses - the Wu Sisters - the easiest way to kill them is to block and Panda Quake. The very split second that it does, press down, then up and then at the peak of your forward swing, let go. I found the best way to do this was to hang from the branch until the spiky log passes you. Now, when it comes to the branch that has the swinging spiky log before it, you must time your jump perfectly in order to not get struck. Creep up and kill them with the Y button. As you swing through the trees you'll come across a few more sleeping wolves. Go over the tree trunk you must knock down and kill the next 2 sleeping wolves in the same way (or perform a Panda Quake to take them both out at the same time). Creep up to him by just pushing your left stick forwards very slightly, then hit Y to kill him in one hit. Then take out the next 2 wolves (the ones that cut down the tree) with another Panda Quake.Ĭontinue through the trees, being careful not to get hit by one of the swinging spiky logs until you reach your first sleeping wolf. There's only about 12 enemies in the whole level.Īs you start the level, you'll swing from tree to tree and then when you first get down to ground level, quickly perform the Panda Quake move to take out the 3 wolves. The easiest level by far for this achievement is Level 9, "Howling Moon". Everyone says "Level Zero" is best for this achievement, but I say that they're all wrong.
